The Gathering

During my expedition through the Florida Everglades, I nearly walked headfirst into this wasp nest while exploring the dense forest. After realizing how close I had come, I carefully stepped back and photographed the colony from a safe distance. Surrounded by dozens of wasps protecting their intricate nest, I witnessed a fascinating example of cooperation and survival in the wild. What could have been a dangerous encounter became one of the most memorable moments of my expedition.
